Introducing JANG at Spring Place
We are excited to announce the launch of JANG, an exclusive dining experience open to the public at Spring Place Tribeca! Opening May 1, 2025, this seafood-forward dining experience features innovative Korean-influenced French cuisine by Chef Tae Woo Lee and Chef Lucas Harrell.
Chef Tae is a self-taught talent who honed his skills through global pop-ups and successful ventures including Dirty Taco, TacOmakase, and Waiting on a Friend. He's joined by Co-Chef Lucas Harrell, who refined his expertise at Michelin-starred establishments including Coi, Francie, Petit Crenn, and The Musket Room. Together, they've created a sophisticated dining experience that honors Chef Tae's Korean roots while staying continuously innovative through meaningful partnerships.

The $130 six-course tasting menu showcases seasonal ingredients with minimal manipulation to highlight their natural flavors:
• Lobster Donut
• Kanpachi Crudo with rhubarb, green strawberry, and spring alliums
• Gochujang Bouillabaisse with fuie de mer, squid dumpling, and nori focaccia
• Chicken & Rice Cake with perilla salsa verde and gochujang
• 45 Day Dry Aged Ribeye (ribeye, banchan, mushroom rice - available for an added charge)
• Flan with Kaluga caviar

This opening marks the first chapter in Spring Place's three-fold culinary series, with exciting collaborations throughout spring and summer.
